  • First do a systemic evaluation of the patient.
  • Identify a pattern, organization, morphology of the rash.
  • Make a differential diagnosis and working diagnosis.
  • Identify specific questions re: dx and rx.
  • Identify relevant medical issues.
  • Make the dermatologist work for you.
